A Great City Trip
Baltimore is a really cool city to just walk around. We spent a lot of time by the Inner Harbor. It's lovely to see the historic ships and just watch the world go by. Lots of good places to eat nearby too.
So Much History Here
The historical significance is everywhere. Visiting Fort McHenry was a highlight; you can really feel the history of the national anthem there. The city has done a nice job preserving its past.
Loved the Old Neighborhoods
Baltimore has some awesome neighborhoods. Strolling the cobblestone streets in Fells Point felt like stepping back in time. We had some amazing steamed crabs at a local spot. So many unique pubs and shops.
Cool Museums and Art
There are some really interesting cultural spots. The American Visionary Art Museum was unlike anything I've ever seen, just full of personality. The whole area around it is fun to explore on foot.
Fun for the Whole Family
It's a great place for a family getaway. The kids were mesmerized at the National Aquarium-it's huge and has so much to see. It's conveniently located right on the water, with plenty of places to eat around.
Easy to Get Around
We stayed near Federal Hill and found it super walkable. The views of the city skyline from the park are fantastic. It was easy to find great little cafes and restaurants without having to go too far.
